The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the single medical entrance examination in India for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government or private medical colleges in India.

NEET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is the only medical entrance exam for admission to all medical colleges in India except for AIIMS and JIPMER (which have been merged with NEET from 2020). The exam tests candidates' knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on the NCERT syllabus of Class 11 and 12.
To be eligible for NEET, candidates must have completed 17 years of age and must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. The minimum aggregate marks required vary by category (50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC).
